◆絶対活用すべし！！意外と深い単語登録
先日（4/29）のワークショップ「はじめてみようFacebook」は無事に終了いたしました。ご参加いただいた皆さん、ありがとうございました。
Side by Side主催の初めてのワークショップ、私も勉強になることがあり、参加された方から気づきや刺激がたくさんありました。
また、機会を見てワークショップを開催していきたいと思いますので、興味がありましたらお気軽にご参加のほどお願いします。
さて、今日は文字入力について紹介したいと思います。
文字入力です。ローマ字入力でもかな入力でもいいんですが、今回は単語登録について。
単語登録は、何かと皆さん利用されているかと思います。特に、沖縄の地名や苗字は、単語登録しないと変換されないから単語登録した、なんてことあると思います。
ともあれ、WindowsのIMEの辞書はどんどん優秀になってきて、沖縄の地名や人名ももちろん、カタカナから英語への変換も便利です。
といっても、今日紹介したいのは、そんな難読漢字とかではありません。
こういうの登録しておくと便利だよ、というSide by Side式単語登録（？）の紹介です！
PCだけではなく、スマートフォンやタブレットでもとても有効ですので、ぜひ参考にしてください。
■とにもかくにも、自分の名前
メールの入力で一番多い単語って何だと思いますか？それは、ずばり自分自身の名前です。（たぶん、、カンで言っています）
で、自分の名前を単語登録しておくと、ちょっと楽になります。
私の苗字「新垣（あらかき）」は、ローマ字入力だと「arakaki」7文字ですね。で、わたしは、「新垣」を「あああ（aaa）」と入力すると出るように登録しています。
ここでポイントは、入力する文字を、1文字にするのはやめたほうがいいです。たとえば、「あ（a）」だと、短すぎていちいち変換のたびに候補に挙がりやすくなりますよね。
同じ文字を3文字くらいが、いいくらいかなと思っています。
たとえば、「上運天（かみうんてん → kamiunten）」ローマ字入力だと9文字。
たとえば「kkk」とkを3個入力したら変換されるように登録するとかですね。
これで、数回のキー入力の省略ができます。ちょっとだけですね。
年間通して考えたら何回のキー入力が省略されているのでしょう。
また、もうひとつの大きなメリットとして、”入力ミスが減る”ということがあります。
ちなみに、わたし、自分の名前なのに「新垣」→「あらかっき」とかよく間違えてたんです。この方法をすることで、入力ミスも少なくなってテンポよく書き物ができるようになります。
もちろんこの方法、自分自身の名前だけでなく、よくやり取りする人（同僚や上司など）の名前を同様に登録しておくと便利ですね。
■メールアドレス
いろいろFacebookやらMicrosoftやらのWEBのサービスにメールアドレスを使っていると思うんですが、結構時間かかるんですね。
また、せっかく手入力したのに、メールアドレスが間違えてやり直し、とかとか。。
そんなときに、いいのがメールアドレスの単語登録です！
たとえば、私はPCでは、「あどれす」と入力するとメールアドレス「sidebyside.info@gmail.com」や複数の私用のメールアドレスを登録しています。
変換の際に、複数のメールアドレスが表示されるわけです。
こんな感じ↓
■住所
住所もめんどくさいんですよ。ということで、これも単語登録。
たとえば、「沖縄県うるま市為又1-2-3 コーポうちかび101号室」とかあるとしますね、私の場合にはもう丸ごと「じゅうしょ」と単語登録しています。
■仕切り線「----------------------------------------」
これは文字ではないんですが、仕切り線って意外とよく使います。マイナス（-）でもイコール（=）でもいいのですが、これも単語登録しています。
私の場合は、「pp」と入力して変換すると仕切り線が出てきます。ピピっと。線ひく感じ？
これは文字ではないので、あまり入力の際に出てこない文字の並びで登録するといいと思います。
■Instagramer必見 ハッシュタグを楽につける！
最近、InstagramのSide by Sideもちょくちょく投稿しているのですが、よく使う定番のハッシュタグなんかも、登録するのもお勧めです。
たとえば、Side by Sideでよく使うハッシュタグ「#okinawa #沖縄 #sidebyside #はじめてみようFacebook #Facebook #ワークショップ #沖縄市 」をひとつにまとめて登録するのもありだと思います。
変換するキーワードとしては、「###」という感じがいいかもしれないですね。
特に、Instagramを商用活用している人はもっとたくさんハッシュタグをつけると思うので、そういうときにいいと思います。
※ちなみに、Facebookと連動している場合には、ハッシュタグ同士の間に、かならず半角スペースをひとつ入れておいてください！
Instagramではスペースを入れなくてもそれぞれタグとして認識されるのですが、Facebook側ではうまく認識されないです。
■キーワードは自由！入力しやすくて覚えやすいものを。
メルアドのところでもそうですが、もし「住所」と普通に入力したいのに逆に登録したお家の住所が変換候補にあがって、逆に煩わしい場合には、ご自身が覚えやすいキーワードで登録しましょう。
自分が覚えられないのだと、逆に使うときに思い浮かばないので、入力のしやすさなども加味して、キーワードを考えるといいと思います。
おすすめが、同じ文字を2-3回繰り返すのがお勧め。「あああ」→「新垣」
今回は文字入力の一例でしたが、ただの文字入力補助ではなく、メモ的な使い方でメールアドレスを呼び出したりすることもできるので、他にもいろいろ工夫ができると思います。
また、今回の単語登録で簡略化できるとしても、数文字ですが、定型的なことをもっと効率よくできないか？と考えるプロセスは大事です。「たかが、数文字ほど省略したからって、、」と思う人よりも、仕事を効率的に進める人になれると思います。
会社名、学校名、定型句、などなど、考え方しだいでいろいろ工夫できると思うので、単語登録、ぜひ活用してみてください！
